About the Author
Kathleen Meikle Walker completed her PhD at University College London on Late Medieval Pet-Keeping: Gender, Status and Emotions . She is now a research fellow at the University of York, studying animals in the Middle Ages.

This book is a MUST HAVE for all cat lovers! It is also for history buffs, who happen to love cats, like me. Kathleen Walker-Meikle has worked hard in her field of animals and medicine in the middle ages and this book shows her love of the topic. With illustrations and explanations of the cat, it is awe-inspiring.
