Well written and easily digestible for the lay man. its an indispensable guide; it contains wisdom of the mind and body. for me the book propagates that 70% of the mind is responsible for good health and that Islam is a medicine above all medicines. It agenda's the following topics; how much we should eat, how this effects our mindsets, how an imbalance of the four components of our bodies (fire, air, water, earth)can lead to diseases, how a dependence on modern pharmaceutical medication can develop a reliance on such medication psychologically, how lack of the earths natural minerals from weather can determine our conditions in old age.what it teaches you is that your body has a right over you, and that for every illness or impurity there is a remedy, except for one for death

Much recommended. I've bought the "Medicine of the Prophet" and "Healing with the Medicine of the Prophet" both by Imam Ibn Qayyim Al-Jawziyah. Looking forward to reading them, especially the latter
