"Pathology is medicine. And you'll want a decent text book. I reside with the Americans as their pathology text books have superior images, and are often very beautiful, their text is more 'high yield', as they say, and are more up to date. You might have to change a few units, but oh well. This 'Essentials' book (an abridged version of its monster older sibling) is worth having. RIP Raphael Rubin"
"An essential dip in volume in Pathology. Not enough alone, but a brilliant addition. Designed as an USMLE revision aid, but don't let that put you off, all it means is that it will have a lot of essential information conveyed succinctly with minimal waffle."
"Going Clinical. Preclincal years should be clinical and clinical years should be scientific, so why not get a good clinical medicine textbook right of the bat. This one (I don't care what anyone says) is a better book than Kumar and Clark."
