this book is a must for any budding doctor. whether you are at school and thinking of applying to medical school or at university studying meicine you'll find it invaluable. it talks you through everything from how to pass exams to how to impress your consultants on the ward rounds. it's well laid out and easy to use. i bought it and was not disapointed!

i'm a genetics doctor in london and bought this book as a present for my nephew who's applying to medical school. i had a browse of it and it really is very good indeed. contains all the useful information to making it from student to docto. 5 stars!

i'm a fourth year medical student at Bristol and I bought this book from our local store. it's really great in telling you what's important and what's not during medical school life. it has some great practical tips too such as where to go for elective funding (i'll be needing that next year!) and how to write CVs and apply for jobs.
