Academic paradigm questioned 28 Oct. 2014
By Pedro Demo - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition Verified Purchase
This book contains many futurist texts questioning some academic uses and abuses. Materiality is groundbreaking reference, but, of course, not in deterministic trope. We need other “texts”, not linear, formalist, sequential, but multimodal, fluid as the reality. Great perspective, although we don’t have at the moment assured solutions. Academy must rethink itself completely. As Foucault used to say in “Discourse’s Order” – order comes from discourse, not from reality.
