3.0 out of 5 stars A very useful book!, 16 Oct 2008
This fully updated version of the Guardian's popular media directory is very good. It's layed out clearly and it's fairly simple to find the publication you are after! The digital media section is a welcome addition too!

1.0 out of 5 stars Useless!, 28 Jun 2009
By A. WHITE "XanderWhite" (UK) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
Well it's already out of date so no reason to buy this one (Buy the 09 version if you're going to) but even then I wouldn't bother. All the information you get in this book is available easily online.

I expect more when it says 'contacts' I want names and addresses, not generic 'info@...' addresses. You can't charge people for this kind of nonsense.

I hope the latest version gives you a name of a contact at least, otherwise what's the book for?!

4.0 out of 5 stars I tell all my clients to buy this, 9 Jun 2009
As a PR coach and author of Do Your Own PR [[ASIN:1905430604 Do Your Own PR: The A-Z of Growing Your Business Through The Press, Networking & Social Media],I often have clients who need to set up a media list but don't want to spend hundreds on full blown-professional list services. This book is such a cheap and easy way to start a press list.
