This is Tier 1 on a global scale, featuring real world hotspots in the single-player campaign and introducing international Tier 1 Operators in multiplayer. This move puts gamers in the boots of Tier 1 Operators from 10 different nations around the world. Gamers can represent their nation’s Special Operations Forces on the multiplayer battlefield where the world’s best-of-the-best warriors go head-to-head in online competition.

  • Authentic Action - From rescuing hostages in Abu Sayyaf’s stronghold in Basilan, Philippines to assaulting Al-Shabaab’s “Pirate Town” on the Somali Coast, gamers step into the boots of Tier 1 Operators as they hunt down the global threat of PETN. Written by U.S. Tier 1 Operators while deployed overseas, Medal of Honor Warfighter has a dotted line to real world events and provides players a view into these situations and lets them experience the action as it might have unfolded.

With Medal of Honor Warfighter, gamers experience unprecedented variety featuring multinational Tier 1 Operators on a global battlefield. For the first time, the Medal of Honor brand introduces a new mode where these global warfighters go head-to-head in online competition. Showcasing 12 different Tier 1 units from 10 nations including the British SAS, Australian SASR, German KSK, Canadian JTF2 and Polish GROM, Medal of Honor Warfighter lets the best of the best warriors from around the world battle it out online.
  • Fight Today’s Global Terror Threat - As with every Medal of Honor game, the soldier’s story is at the heart of the experience. Medal of Honor Warfighter tells the story of U.S. Tier 1 Operator, “Preacher” as he returns home from overseas only to find his family torn apart from years of deployment. Trying to pick up the pieces to salvage what remains of his marriage, Preacher is reminded of what he’s fighting for - family. But when an extremely deadly explosive (PETN) penetrates civilian borders and his two worlds collide, Preacher and his fellow teammates are sent in to solve the problem. They take the fight to the enemy and do whatever it takes to protect their loved ones from harm.

2.0 out of 5 stars Medal of Honor: Warfighter Review 28 Oct. 2012
Platform for Display:Xbox 360
Fun: 2.0 out of 5 stars
Firstly i will state that i pre-ordered this from "GAME" and not amazon (as i get points).

Down to the review, Medal of Honor: Warfighter is probably the most hyped and over pushed game to have been released this year so far and i will have a guess and say will be for the whole year! So even before it came out Everyone and i mean EVERYONE was raving about it and couldn't wait to get their hands on it (the same for me). However, the penny dropped around a week before release when many professional reviewers were being critical of EA in that they hadn't issued "press" copies for review (which is the norm for 99% of games).... OXM for instance said the last time that happened the game in question was a complete failure! Well i should have taken more notice and cancelled my preorder there and then because for the most part this game is shocking on multiple levels.

Firstly lets start with the campaign, it is neither mind blowing in its vision nor in the way it unfolds, besides all this you will struggle to actually understand what is happening.... which over time makes the campaign boring and the only reason you want to complete it would be for achievements or the 5% of people that could actually work out what was happening. When you've installed the HD texture pack the graphics look pretty good (i will grant the game that) but without it, it looks worse than an old PS2 game so make sure you have the space and install it when you get it. But before all this you will have to download and install the MASSIVE patch which came down the track 24 hours after release to fix a whole list of problems (mostly relating to bugs and glitches from both sides of the game) many of which were present in the previous game (MOH 2010).

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent 21 Sept. 2014

The 2nd installment to the Medal Of Honor 2010 franchise. This is such a brilliant game with all the levels being based on actual events as most of it written and developed by serving soldiers who have dedicated their time and efforts to this amazing game. I don't know where i would be without this game. This is a good game as it allows you to see what the war is like in Afghanistan and helps you decide your future job prospects.

for something launched 2012 the programming of this shooter is really poor. How is it possible that for a £40 quid game all you get is a bunch of baddies that only shoot at you - despite the size of AI team you are with? They can find you even if crawl around to their flanks, even if 10 of your 'ai' buddies are shooting at them - every single bad guy will just turn and target you - and you alone. what's the point of having an a.i. team? nothing.

what's with the controls - sometimes you can dive, sometimes you cant. there isn't any point learning the controls if the game wont allow you free use of them.

environment is shocking! how can you not be able to shoot though a wooden stairway banister?!?! yet the bad guys can shoot the corner off a concrete barrier! Did anyone actually think this game through?

More amazing bad guy action - they will run towards you - and your 10 man ai team, then just stand there - all your AI team will fire and miss - and then he will just shoot at you. Even if you are behind a ten foot wall!

Utter disgrace. Golden Axe was more technically sound than this. How can video games producers get away with selling this for £40,00 once you open it, its non-refundable. These people should be locked up for robbery.

4.0 out of 5 stars A solid FPS. 1 Nov. 2012

I thought that Medal of Honor war fighter was a lot of fun.

First off the campaign is solid, nothing to groundbreaking but by no means bad, there's a story and unlike other games in the genre it actually tries to tell a story instead of just spamming explosions around the screen.

The game forces you to use one of the best FPS cover mechanics, hell they might even rival that off Rainbow 6 Vegas 2. The enemy AI is very intelligent, and will use different tactics against you. Something which very little games in this genre can do, and MoH pulls it off very well.

As for the graphics, the Frostbite engine does an amazing job, the lighting and environments look amazing, and while there is no destruction physics, you'll easily forgive this.

The multiplayer is also the most well balanced and fun to play since CoD4. It actually forces you to work as a team players are split into separate squads of two, and this really enforces team work and good tactics. You'll come to rely on your squad mate a lot during a Multiplayer match.

Multiplayer is lag free, on day one I did not get disconnected or experience any lag at all during an online game. Which in this day an age is very rare.

Medal of Honor Warfighter might not do anything groundbreaking but packs enough punch to stand out from the crowd, and is a massive improvement over the previous title.

Highly recommended.

2.0 out of 5 stars Disapointing ! 27 Oct. 2012
Platform for Display:Xbox 360
Having only played the multiplayer portion of this game i am not in a position to comment on the single player campaign but for any one thinking of of parting with £40 of their hard earned for this i suggest that this is the only part of the game you play as multi player is a major let down. As another reviewer commented the lag and hit detection are a joke! The ammount of times i drew a bead on another player and started firing more a less at point blank range in his face only for him to return fire with a couple of rounds and i end up dropping like a sack of s..t on the floor . The buddy system is just a gimmick i tried several times to team up with my fire team buddy and get some team talk on the go but they just sod off running round on there own no one uses a mic anyway .the enviroments are good and imaginative but i cant understand why people rave on about this frost bite 2 engine its really not that good.in short if your looking for a similar experience to medal of honour 2010 dont bother with this its a completley different game you will be disapointed its more like battle field 3.5 .
