I too thought I was halfway through the game and getting engrossed and then it ended, I reserved the Tier 1 edition at Game and was told it had extras, so I thought maybe I missed something.

I don't make a habbit of buying games on release and usually wait many many months later, but this seemed special, I have many games far cheaper that seem to go on for so long and give you something for your money.

Graphics and sounds were great and as true to life as you can get, some lovely destination maps with views, some bits of hands on with vehicles too and some sniping, the online game was terribly difficult (well I am a 40s male) but was nothing like Modern War 2 online and not sure anything will be.

Overall I give it a 3 out of 5 for the graphics and gameplay and weapons.

    Single Player Campaign:

I thought that the single player experience in Medal of Honor is a solid one. The graphics are impressive, the gameplay meets and in some cases exceeds the type of gameplay found in Call of Duty, having both very intense and tactical situations. Having said this, it does have some draw backs. The multiple characters you play with in the missions feel very clinical and underdeveloped. At no point does the game try to make the characters likeable or give them any kind of personality, the same applies to the AI you play with although they do seem to feature some kind of personality. The story line is almost non existant as well. As far as I could make out it was basically an operation in Afghanistan that goes bad half way through, that is pretty much it.

    Online Multiplayer:

I actually enjoyed the multiplayer more than the single player. Again it was a solid effort on Dice's part. It features various game modes that you would expect to find in an online FPS including Team DM, Domination and Sabotage. The gameplay is always intense and, for a period of time, does get you hooked in wanting to play more of it. Unfortunately this does not have the same longevity that perhaps recent COD games may have. This is due to limited weapons, maps and to some extent game modes. It does have a certain appeal to it though as it is similar to COD, but not COD. I only say this because personally I have grown bored of the COD franchise for the time being.

    The Verdict:

This is by no means a poor game as I have spent a decent amount of time playing the various different aspects of the game and have had a lot of fun playing it.

As close to the real thing as you can get without sand in your eyes!!
Fantastic well thought out gameplay without the overlong cut scenes, online is even better, once again MOH does not disapoint.

I'm 47 and still enjoy this sort of thing

I bought and completed medal of honor today. it took me 4 hours to complete the single player so its not the hardest game in the world but there are some small gems of gameplay such as the atv driving and apache gunship weapons control. But other than that its pretty much standard you cant really tell where.

The locations are pretty non descript but are well crafted and do provide a little challenge. There isnt much of a story but with that said it doesnt last long so you barely notice the lack of it!

its not the best FPS and unfortunately it will pale in comparison to the likes of the call of duty franchise. still its good in its own right, the game is worth playing but i wouldnt come back to it i was left disappointed with the shortness of it all.

Its awsom! the game never stops delivering fun and fast paced action that will allways keep entertaind
the reson i prefer this game to cod is because the makers of the game have put alot of effort in to making the campain on this game so its more involving and quite abit longer than the campain on any of the cod games. but if you are more of an online player then this game will not dissopoint either, its not just simple death matches and captur the flag in each mach theres a reson to why your so gives you more to think about, if you've ever played the online on battle feild bad company 2 then you will have an idea of what its like on this game to (thats probably because it made by the same people) any way all in all i would give tis game a 10/10

being a fan of the old medal of honour games i had quite high expectations for this game (as did many others) and u would think with the new call of duty round the corner EA would try to make a game that could match call of duty if not better it... unfortunatly thats not the case... theres no memorable moments in it, nothing really well thought of- its just simply duck for cover shoot a couple of people and progress through the dull small enviroments EA have so lazily made... i paid [...] for this too. has a stupidly short campaign...the graphics aint even that good, take my advise and wait for black ops il be trading this in towards it for sure

Really dissapointed is the only way I can sum this up, I wished I hadn't wasted my money. I can only assume that the good reviews were after only a short game play. If you really want to play this game then I would suggest renting it on a free weekend.

Got the game only 2 days ago and I've already completed the campaign and got bored of the online games. Initially I liked the graphics and sound (felt more realistic that MW2), and the game itself felt less Hollywood but.......

I'll start with the campaign mode. I'm no great FPS player but completed this in little over 5 hours even after getting stuck on a level, way too short and the story is thin. Basically you are fighting the Taliban with no real end objective (suppose they were trying to make it realistic!!!) The last mission is a total anti climax, it just pretty much ends the same as all the previous missions. Unlike COD:MW I wouldn't play the campaign again.

The online section is fun for about 12 hours, then the limited maps (limited in numbers and size) make it tedious. I play team death match mostly and you are limited to playing these on the smaller maps which are far to small for 24 players. Essentially you will find that a couple of the good 'Sniper' players will find a spot and just take you out when you respawn regardless of what map you are on. This really is frustrating as you can find you just get shot, respawn, get shot etc and can't get into the game. Tried to play domination which was even worse. Suppose the maps are set up for campers rather than people moving around.

EA should have just shelved this and just started a fresh with the Infinity Ward guys (makers of COD:MW for those than dont know) that defected to EA.
