I was given this by a friend and was pleasantly surprised. A mixture of 'proper' published authors and new writers from a writing MA it has an interesting mix of stories, some of them, notably the offering from Kate Pullinger, very short indeed.
A good tube ride read as you can flick through it and dip into whichever one takes your fancy. The subjects range from tales of a construction site, through domestic troubles to a man who lives with a monkey.
If you like short stories, or even if you're not convinced I would recommend it, especialy if you don't have the time or inclination for a long involved book but want an enjoyable diversion in the bath or on your commute...
