Following on from my son's work with beebot at school I thought this would be an excellent toy compared to his remote control tarantula. Unfortunately he realised it's limitations and was happy for his 4 yr old sister to play with it instead! - which is an extremely rare occurrence.
Very good quality and robust - excellent fun with the sounds and light - but the movement forwards and backwards is too limiting - it turns on it's jockey wheel so can't be manoeuvred with any precision.
Oh well - another bargain on ebay methinks!!

This is not a building toy. It's just a remote control robot that needs very minimal assembly. All it does is move forward, backward/spin, and light up.

I bought the Meccano Spykee Robot for my Grandsons 8th birthday and he loved it .He is a child who loves building things and has recently been introduced to Meccano. This gives me lots of ideas for birthday and Christmas presents.

merely a radio control model, nothing much ti it, it doesn't spy as the name indicates, no camera ect
