First one the remote controlled car didn't work, with the replacement the batteries would not fit because the contacts were not fitted properly. Surpised as Meccano is a brand yu can normally trust.

Have now had 2 of these. First one worked for about 5 minutes after a lot of fiddling to try and get going and the second never worked. Very disappointing and not good for a brand like meccano

I bought this model car as a present for my 4 year old nephew. He loves playing with it for hours. It is much cheaper here compared to other stores where it is for £30.

Unfortunately it's neither a good radio controlled car or a good meccano set, my kids found it hard to build and it's absolutely rubbish to drive. Read more

Needs IR remote instructions
My 7 year old daughter and I put this together in around an hour. Easy enough to follow build instructions but a few bits a little fiddly for youngsters. Read more
