Product Description

Review

This book is beautifully written, laid out, and is full of great colour photos. She has done an outstanding job of providing excellent information on what to use, and how to prepare excellent, healthy meals. I highly recommend this book for anyone with gut sensitivity, gluten intolerance, inflammatory conditions, and particularly parents wanting a great resource they can use to create wholesome meals for their family. --Paul Chek, CHEK Institute

Firstly it's the most beautiful book I've had the good fortune of laying my eyes and hands on! So many beautiful pictures, detail and colour. The layout is superb and the recipes all seem delicious. My 2 year old will love those cakes and desserts. I am definitely considering clearing my recipe book shelf and have just Nourishing traditions and your book on there. Excellent! --Liezl Edom

Karen has written a truly wonderful book, beautifully presented and full of great user friendly recipes that will help many people in their quest to create optimal health. --Emma Lane, CHEK Faculty

Karen's expertise coupled with this fantastic cookbook and healthcare guide have provided me with a new found zest for life. For 18 years health 'specialists' tried to fathom out why I was constantly in pain, fatigued and fainting. No amount of poking, prodding or pills could seemingly relieve the symptoms of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Irritable Bowel Syndrome.

Following Karen's sagely healthcare advice and eating her easy & delicious recipes cannot be recommended highly enough. My life has been given back to me and for that I am unspeakably grateful. I have renewed energy, no 'brain fog' and I am pain free for the first time in almost 2 decades. If, like me, you suffer with digestive issues & food intolerances then break free from associated pain and misery by getting yourself a copy of this book. It will be the best (and most beautifully presented) cookbook purchase you ever make.

I have been using this beautiful cookery book for just over 4 months and I refer to it almost every day. It is presented in a very user friendly way and also surprises you with lovely images and useful information.

I have made many of the recipes including the Chilli which is wonderful also my family really enjoyed the fruity pannacotta.

I am never without the healing broth in the fridge and use it as my stock for my savoury dishes. I have given a copy of this book to my daughter who loves it and also my friend in Australia is enjoying the delights of this very special book.
Thanks Karen you have done a great job.

This is the most beautiful cookery book I own, which is such a great inspiration for trying the recipes. There's a huge amount of useful information about aspects of nutrition for reducing inflammation eg the truth about fats, foods that promote inflammation and foods that heal. The recipes are delicious and easy to make - not like some free-from recipe books which have long lists of ingredients that are hard to source and cost an arm and a leg. There are also quite a few family friendly recipes, including puds, so I don't have to make numerous different meals for different family members. Above all, it's a great inspiration to cook for great health.

Very informative with some good recipes & tips. Unfortunately it can be difficult to read due to the faint font & dark colours of some of the pages. Well worth looking at.
