Amazon Verified Purchase
Brought this for our two guinea pigs. Its an excellent size and was easy to put together. The hutch does look good however it is very flimsy. Within the first week the piece of wood that one of the roof hinges is attached to split apart so we had to replace this. Also one of the pieces of wood on one of the top doors on the run kept falling off so we've had to screw this back on with fatter screws. Also its not very easy for children to reach the guinea pigs or for them to clean out. You have to go round the back of the hutch and when the roof is open its very hard for them to reach into the hutch, also they tend to keep leaning on the hinges which makes the roof drop back down. This is a good 'value' hutch but you get what you pay for so its not the best quality.

Purchased this hutch for our 3 guinea pigs who are about 3 years old. Delivery prompt & hutch easily put together. Seems well made & looks really smart. Bedroom area plenty big enough for 3 & run good size so don't need to move hutch every day. Took a few days to coax them down the ramp as didn't have one in previous hutch. Now seem to enjoy running up & down it. Only negative is that sides are a bit high so it's difficult for the children to reach in to catch the guinea pigs. Overall very pleased with our purchase.

Bought this hutch last Thursday, built it on the Saturday. During the build process, one of the fittings for the sleeping chamber had fallen off - glued it back on. Then when fitting the roof sections the hinge screws gave way with very minimal pressure and when I say gave way - they ripped out of the wood far too easily, fixed this with larger screws. So far two issues and it wasn't even fully built yet. Once built, it looks pretty good - but it is extremely flimsy and the run is not as secure as I would have liked.
Two days later, I went out into the garden to feed the rabbits - only to find one of them run straight past me onto the patio! Initially I assumed the little bugger had dug a hole, but on inspection she had literally pushed the wire mesh out of one of the side panels! The way the mesh is fitted, they have only allowed for a couple of millimetres all around the fittings, so I lightly pressed on one of the top panels and that gave way.
This product is disgraceful and Amazon should be ashamed of themselves to be associated with it - I could of easily lost my rabbits that night. I am in the process of purchasing a new hutch and will be sending this one back. Customer services did there best, but a 10% discount on another Meadow Lodge hutch is not acceptable!
Avoid this product! I have taken pictures of the great rabbit escape if anyone wants to see how poor this hutch is. In the end, you get what you pay for, a piece of **** for £114 - and they reckon this product is worth £200?!
