the package does not include tripod!

the price on Meade online store is 1999.00USD, I found here in Amazon is 1400.00$, I bought it.
but when the telescope arrvied , no tripod in package, I think this why it's cheaper.
Please be aware of it.
but in Meade website's official description: the tripod is deafult accessory in a LX90 package.
i retunred the package, I paid 54.00 USD for insured shipment, but Amazon only refunded me 31.00 USD.

This LX90 is an excellent telescope. I love it. Meade also offers excellent customer support. The only thing I can comment on is the fact that you pay alot of money and only one eyepiece is included.

I'm pleased with the quality of the imgaes from this telescope. BUT- contrary to the 8 pictures shown on the Amazon webpage AND the information from the manufacturer, the scope did NOT come with a tripod. So, you can buy this scope from Amazon for $1,999 or get the scope AND tripod directly from the manufacturer for $1,999. You choose--
