I find the ratings received by this book a bit severe. Ok, there's some typo's. I found an evident error in a diagram which was corrected on New Ryder's web site. Done with the errors. The main thing to me is that there are no mistakes in the contents itself. This book is accurate and is all you need to pass the exam successfully. I did, so many will. The knowledge tests at the end of each chapter are just what's needed to set you in the mood for the exam, so does the companion CD with the sample exam. Maybe it's not the best, but it sure ain't the worse !

I must add my voice to the chorus of bad reviews this book has received. I am utterly disgusted with the number of errors and typos in this book. I can't believe that an otherwise reputable publisher like New Riders would allow a book so full of mistakes to go out the door with their name on it. I will think long and hard before ever buying another book from this publisher.

This book was very disappointing. I am lucky that I already had a solid TCP/IP background so I knew when the book was in error. This book had many technical and grammatical errors and felt like it was not reviewed for technical accuracy --as if it was rushed to publication to cash in on the flood of book buying MCSE candidates.
