I bought one of these as I do a lot of miles in my car which doesn't have an adjustable lumbar support in the seat. I wanted something which would help stop the twinges in my lower back after a long journey. The roll does seem to work, but it is quite large and, until you get used to it, it does feel as though your pelvis is being thrust forward. My only real gripe is with the fastening belt - the buckle is one of those that the belt goes through in an s-shape and however much I fiddled round with it the belt just slipped back out, so it is esentially useless. That said it pretty much stays in place anyway being wedged between your back and the seat.
