Product Description

The McDavid 511 Elastic ankle support is a two way stretch ankle sleeve which does not contain neoprene. It is ideal for people with allergies to neoprene, who do not require the heat retention that neoprene provides or for those who want a light weight ankle sleeve. The McDavid 511 ankle support can be worn within shoes and trainers to help prevent injuries and speed up recovery through compression (reduces swelling) and light heat retention (increased blood flow). The support is designed for minor ankle pain, weak ankles, minor sprains, arthritis, bursitis and tendonitis. The ankle support measures 17cm from the ankle upwards and can be washed in warm water with a mild detergent.

I bought these to help with an ankle problem that I was experiencing playing football and I found the product delivered exactly what I needed. It was lightweight and confortable enough to wear with boots etc. (without feeling like your foot was two sizes bigger than it used to be!!). It was also strurdy enough to offer enough support and give the ankle a feeling of strength which would have been missing without it. I certainly found that it provided assistancewith my problem (mainly sprains resulting from rolling/twisting of ankles) without sacrificing freedom of movement.

If your looking for a comfortable ankle support that provides a moderate level of support to help with sporting injuries, you could do a lot worse than get these.

Just wanted to update you all on the sizes. I went for a large as one of the reviews said that this would be the right size for me. It arrived and on my packet it states this.
Male shoe size 6-9 Small, 9-11 Medium, 11-13 Large, 14 and over XL
womens shoe size 7-10 small, 10-12 m, 12-14L and 15 and over XL.
So going on the below review I got the wrong size.
Product is good and seems well made, its a glorified tubi grip.

this a brilliant product, heads up on the sizes tho.. > : Xl=14 and over 15 >> L =10,11,12 >> M= 7,8,9 and S=under 7

Injury assistance
