Having developed tendonitis in my right hand whilst working as a software engineer in the 90's I've suffered on and off with the problem since. Various mice & wrist supports have come and gone in the attempt to treat the condition. It flaired up again in April this year and didn't clear up using my normal treatments. With the doctors advice of rest impractical due to work & study I searched for something to prevent further damage whilst working and came across this. The pressure & warmth the support provides has helped the damage to my wrist repair significantly, OK it will never likely go away but its at least stopping it getting worse. The splint is aiding no end as well as it has forced me into better practices with typing especially on laptops which were central in the flair up earlier this year. The combination of the restriction of movement and warmth/compression was so effective in my case that within 2 weeks I have dropped down the use of the support to only when I feel the burning pain in my wrist. In combination with erconomic mice this is a quality product at a bargain price. If you have RSI, tendonitis any wrist complaint this is worth a go at this price.
Until I used this I was waking up in the night with terrible pins and needles in my hand due to Carpel Tunnel Syndrome,not any more thanks to this wrist protector i'm now getting a full nights sleep.
