Manufacturer's Description

The McCulloch M53-625CMDWis a premium, heavy duty, self propelled petrol lawnmower offering the highest specifications of all McCulloch lawnmowers. This mower delivers superior maneuverability even in the toughest of cutting conditions

The 53cm metal blade is housed in a robust deep dome steel deck for improved collection and mulching performance. The rear wheels are larger for improved maneuverability.

Grass is collected in a large 71 litre plastic grassbox, meaning less time spent emptying and more time at the job in hand. Achieving your desired grass length is easy, thanks to 5 heights of cut (between 25 - 80mm).

Switch to the mulching system and the clippings are recycled, giving your lawn vital nutrients. The self propelled system takes all the effort out of pushing your M53-625CMDW around your lawn, leaving you less exhausted, and feeling refreshed

Your M53-625CMDW is powered by a Briggs & Stratton 190cc 625 series engine, known worldwide for reliability and performance. With this partnership you have a quality mower, with the very best in engine technology that will deliver cut after cut, year after year.

So far so good 23 Jun 2010
So far I have used the McCullock petrol mower about four times, and as my lawn is on a slight slope, it made the job a lot easier with the power driven wheels. My old mower was quite an effort, as it gradually became heavier with the cuttings, I had to stop and empty the bag about five times during a mowing session!

My lawn is about 102 ft by 32 feet and the new mower trims the lawn completley without having to stop to empty the bag.

Cut above the rest! 24 Oct 2010
I needed a new mower as my own finally bit the dust. Well I thought I would go for something slightly bigger as I have a large garden. Pleased with the machine and for the price it was a bargain. However I think perhaps I should have got something slightly smaller as it is quite large especially in a a tight corner. However it cuts very well and cannot fault its performance. When I first used it I found it difficult to handle. The grass was alittle damp and the earth underneath wa sqite soft. the mower is a front wheel drive and in the soft condition this was more difficult to handle than my previous rear wheel drive machine. Having used it since I am getting on better with it in dryer conditions but is still a bit of a hand full when trying to manover it. I have seen this machine since I purchased it at £329 retail and since I only paid £223 I reckon I did very well on the deal.

Great to use amazed at how there is no grass left on the ground when not using the grass box mulcher is a great option to use a little on the heavy side but what to expect for the power the lawn mower has it is a pleasure to use good fuel consumption amazed how many times I cut the lawn before having to refuel I consided the price a bargain when looking at other products

Great Mower
Put the oil and petrol in and mower started 1st time. Easy to use and cuts the grass like a dream. For this price beats more expensive rivals.

lawnmower
not bad for the price, front drive is not ideal, & I do not know how long it will last, time will tell, but at 1/3 of the price of a honda, I think is well worth the price.
