Amazon Verified Purchase
We have been using McAfee for a number of years but to avoid being fleeced by clicking the upgrade button, buy a disk through Amazon at a cheaper price. Having installed the programs on the first PC it showed me that the subscription was valid for a year ahead and registered the software with McAfee. However next time I started the PC the reminders came up and the subscription was back to overdue. I uninstalled the old version then installed the new software from our account on the website and it worked fine without using another of our user licenses. To avoid reminders coming up on the other PCs I uninstalled the old McAfee before installing the new version - I don't know whether it made any difference, but the reminders don't appear.

To all those people who have had problems installing this software. You don't have to install anything!! Since this is an UPGRADE VERSION for those whose subscription is due to end, you already have the software on your machine(s). All you have to do is:-
1) Enter the appropriate url for your product, as specified in the instruction pamphlet in the 'Web Installation' section.
2) Enter your new product key when prompted.
3) Log into your existing account, when prompted.
4) Link the new key to your account.
5) Verify your subscription by right clicking the Mcafee icon in the system tray and clicking 'Verify subscription'.
Simple! Two minutes work, and no re-installation of what's already on your machine!
This suite does a good job at protecting up to 3 machines, and has plenty of features, although it suffers from mediocre malware cleaning abilities, as identified in several independent reviews. 4/5

Excellent price compared to the high street or the McAfee website. i normally use McAfee as security for my laptop but it was getting too expensive each time it was renewed, so it is great to get it here at a much more reasonable price. It is easy to install and covers 3 pcs. The delivery was also very fast so no complaints!

Pretty awesome, easy upgrade from previous.
Very easy, just put the disk in and it does eveyrthing it else and kept all my settings from the the 2011 version.
