For vehicles with petrol or diesel engines over 1800cc (1.8 litres), this 12 amp, 6/12V battery charger offers fast and normal charging modes. It protects against overloading, reverse polarity and short circuiting and has an easy to read ammeter that clearly shows the charging rate. Light and compact, it has a robust, ABS plastic case and integral handle and is easy to store. Battery clips are fully insulated and come with a 1.7m lead. For all low maintenance and maintenance-free 6V/12V lead-acid batteries of 40-160Ah capacity only. Input 230V AC 50Hz 140Watt. Output 6V-12V / 12A maximum. For indoor use only.

I bought this because it is the only product that can cope with 110 ah batteries at this price.
Pro: The case is solid, the weight is heavy and it recharged my boats battery within an hour, on the normal setting. The ammeter is not graduated, but I checked it with my own meter and it is correct.
Cons: clips are lightweight/basic, meter is basic, labels are already lifting off/air bubbles underneath.
It does the job OK, feels solid, but no frills.

Very prompt delivery and a clear set of instructions - more useful for safety reaons than to operate the charger as it is very simple to use.
Charged a totally dead 12v battery to working capacity within eight hours - and not expensive to run. Clear meter to tell you how the charginging is progressing or how charged the battery is.
