Maxwell and Williams 8.5cm Ramekin is made from high quality porcelain. These ramekins are dishwasher safe and are suitable for freezers, conventional & microwave ovens. Ideal for making delicious starters such as salmon mouse & pate or tempting desserts such as creme brulee & indivdual dessert pies. Porcelain is the material which the Maxwell & Williams White Basics and Coupe range is made from. It is vitreous, somewhat translucent and is particularly strong. It is well suited for use in microwaves and conventional ovens. It also resists water and food absorption, but does not have the same delicate translucency as Bone China.
