Good value for money hoist. Straight out of the box mount it to a strong bar, plug it into the mains (normal domestic 13 amp) and Bob's your uncle....lift away to your hearts content. 500 Kgs is a lot of weight so make sure you can support it from your bar and fittings!
The winch is much stronger than many others being that it has a 250kg lift without having to use the pulley system. The plastic cover at the end was cracked but that doesnt effect the unit working at all. The cable for the control is a bit too short for what I wanted but that was the only issues otherwise it seems to work well.
