a very good clipper at a reasonable price for use by somebody who doesnt need to clip often. my cushings pony needs clipping very late as he gets hot this time of year and these clippers have been ideal for his long coat.

these clippers appeared to be very good when i got them. the proffesional packaging and sturdy looking design got my hopes up, and although they worked very nicely the first time i clipped my horse, the second time, the top blades stopped moving. i looked this up in the instruction manual and it says the main cog has to be replaced. considering i couldn't even get the lower blade off as the screws were on so tight, i doubt i'll be able to do anything about it and i expect that taking them to be repaired will be more expensive than the clippers themselves!obviously i am extreemly dissapointed, i didn't expevct these clippers to last as long as liverymans are said to as i'm likly to be selling my horse by next summer but i thought it illogical to spend £200 on a well-known pair when i only needed then for a season. at just £60, it's not the end of the world and a risk i was prepared to take but considering i have basically paid £60 for one clipping, i am not impressed!i am now faced with having to buy a set of well-know clippers at £200 and just hoping they sell well when i no longer need them at the end of the winter - in the meantime, i have a horse with 1/2 neck clipped and the rest of him furry!

These clippers are brilliant value for money, they are slightly noisier than some more expensive brands, but they work just as well. I found them brilliant, and would definitely recommend them.
