There was only one reason I bought this and that was to protect my camera lens from scratches and that's exactly what its doing. easy and cheap to replace unlike the lens. The bonus of course is the ultra-violet filtering that so improves both daylight shots and those indoors under neon lights. Excellent value for money and peace of mind.

This filter serves two purposes for me, protect the lense and filter UV. I did notice an increased clarity in outdoor pictures once this was fitted to my FZ-45. Good value and perfect fit.

UV Filter
Fits perfectly onto my FZ150 and the existing lense cap still fits onto the filter. I am not best qualified to say much about the optical quality but it seems ok !
