super fast delivery try'd this on both my vauxhall zavira 1.9cdti 150 08 plate worked no faults thank god and vin number matched then try'd it on my other zavira 1.8 petrol 07 plate same result so well worth the money will be recommending.

Having bought a Punto Active 1250 single cam an engine fault warning light came on. I got local my Local independant garage to do the cam belt and analyse the fault. They said it was a misfire code but said run it and see what happens. It duly came on again and they re-analysed the code without charge. They said it was the same fault. I fitted new plugs, leads, coil packs and lambda sensor. The engine was now running really well but the warning light came on again. They analysed the code which again was a 'misfire code' charged me £10 this time. However I saw how they did it and being a bit handy thought I could do that. A bit of research on the net and a trawl around Amazon got me this product. The product was delivered promptly. The instructions were clear and easy to follow and the product easy to use and did exactly what the vendors description said it would do. The instuction book came with a fault code glossery. The fault light came on again and because I now had the tool I could read the fault code (0300 misfire)and reset the system. The engine runs perfectly -fuel consumption spot on and performance is great but the light still comes on but with the Maxiscan I can read the code and reset the system each time it does. The Maxiscan has saved me a small fortune in analysis charges etc at the garage and because I know it is the same 0300 misfire code I now know the fault lies in the ECU and not in another componant or sensor that is faulty and caused the engine warning light to come on. The Maxiscan is a Great product at an unbelievably cheap price!!!!

I bought this product to detect a fault code on my Renault. Having visited the Renault forum some "experts" stated that only a very expensive scanner could read Renault fault codes. The Maxiscan found the fault codes and then deleted them when required. I also tried it on my Jaguar and again it performed as expected, although fortunately, not finding any fault codes!

Works on 2002 A class
Very easy to use, just plugs into the car's diagnostic socket and displays fault codes which you can look up in the booklet supplied. Solidly made item, would recommend.

Does not work for my 2002 jeep cherokee
It can read the error codes just fine but no matter how many times I tell it to delete the error's it doesn't work, which essentially makes it useless to me.
