D Whittaker says:
According to the description, this motherboard only supports "up to 16GB RAM". After receiving the board, I've found that it should be able to support up to 32GB of RAM. This is further cemented by the manufacturer's site (at http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/M5A78LMUSB3/#specifications) specifying 32GB is possible.

My question is, has something been done to this board to limit the possible RAM from what ASUS ships the board with, or is it being advertised incorrectly?
