It's always good to discover a new name in the thriller field and if Jack Henderson keeps to the very high standard of this debut novel, he's going to have a long and successful career.
The characters are well-drawn and engaging - the author has avoided the common trap of making the good guys Hollywood-perfect and the bad guys cartoon villains - and the plot and plot twists keep you hooked : you'll find yourself meaning to stop at a chapter end, but somehow just reading a few more pages, then a few more...
The author obviously knows his stuff with regard to the technology side, but at no time is the reader baffled with science - the human element remains the mainstay, and the tension keeps ratcheting up.
In all, a very fresh approach to the thriller genre, enjoyable and satisfying, and I look forward to the next one from Mr. Henderson.

Jack your book is one hell of a read.I adore action adventure and this tops it on excitement.I have become a very discerning reader and read such a lot.The title drew me and I knew I had to read it.
Originally an ebook to hard cover well done you give inspiration to others to do the same particularly me who is writting a book as well.
I really couldnt put it down when it came to half way Im now at a loss at what to read now as youve set such a high standard.

As the other reviews have pointed out, this book builds on 9/11 and sets up a rather grand and slightly over elaborate scheme to capitolise on 9/11 itself. Many moons ago this book would be dismissed as absurd in the extreme, but given the world we live in it now suddenly does seem so unbelievable as it would have, say a decade ago.

However, that said, the book is a little too far-fetched and has characters that it would seem only really appeal to american and perhaps computer nerds (although I'm sure they too would feel short changed at such simplified characters).

The biggest let down for me was the over elaborate plot - it was simply too unbelievable and too long - and by the end of the book I just didnt care whether they managed to save the world or not. I'm not really sure where they managed to find such great reviews to pad out the cover of the book (perhaps the same place james patterson gets his?).

either way I'd avoid this book if you can. its not terrible, its just not that good. Like the british lions tour 2005, I felt when it was all over, 'thats a chunk of my life I'll never get back'.
