Simon Hurst is a leading figure in the development and use of accounting and finance spreadsheets. He is an accomplished lecturer and teacher of spreadsheet techniques, and an acknowledged expert and popular leader of many ICAEW (Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales) lectures throughout the year to accountants in practice and industry. He also lectures and trains directly for many firms of accountants and financial institutions of all sizes. He is also a regular contributor on spreadsheet topics to the ICAEW s technology forum, IT Counts and is the author of numerous articles in the accounting and technical press about spreadsheets. Simon Hurst, Excel guru and lecturer (who I've seen at the ICAEW - excellent courses btw), has created an insightful, "Finance-ready" spreadsheet guide. Most of us know how to use Excel and often work hard it, Simon teaches how to work smart. From easy-to-learn quick-wins that you can implement immediately to more detailed, sophisticated data analysis techniques, this book is very likely to make your work (and that of your team's) a higher quality - and for a very little outlay! Well done Simon.
