This is a fantastic little item, only a few centimetres long and a few millimetres thick. Unlike some other third-party camera remotes, it isn't cluttered with lots of unnecessary buttons for other makes of camera. It has one button which, on my Pentax K-X, can be used to release the shutter immediately or after a 3-second delay, both with or without autofocussing before releasing the shutter (actions are configurable within the camera menus). The lithium cell is easily replaceable. Delivery by CameraMarket UK was very prompt. Excellent.

I was really impressed with this product. I was amazed at how small and compact it is. I have used it a couple of times already and found it works perfectly. It is no reflection on the product itself, but the Pentax K-M manual is a little wooly about the use of a remote shutter release and so, bearing this in mind, perhaps some 'camera-specific' set-up information on the use of the remote shutter release could be provided with the product.

Excellent product and a good price compared to the Pentax original which costs at least £25. This product was only £9 and that included postage.
I was pleased to find it works with the Pentax K-r camera. Unfortunatley the K-r doesn't have a jack plug input so you need an infra-red remote like this to act instead of a cable release.

Cheap remote shutter release

Great value
Using this with a Pentax K-r. Works perfectly, haven't tried it at long distances yet though. Feels kind of cheap I suppose, not that it really matters for a remote control!
