The Maxi-Cosi Priori XP is versatile, safe and stylish--truly a car seat for today's parents. The Priori XP is a forward-facing Group 1 car seat appropriate for children weighing from 9 kg to 18 kg, or 9 months to around 3.5 years.

As of September 2006, the use of safety belts in cars and approved child safety devices is mandatory for all children under 12 years old or less than 1.35 metres/4'5" in height for transport by car in the front and back seat. Every Maxi-Cosi car seat model--defined in the latest UN safety standard ECE R44.04--is specially designed for each age, as your child grows from birth to the age of 12.
The Maxi-Cosi Priori XP can be installed using the car's standard 3-point seat belt. Thread the seat belt following the routing guides on the seat, between the shell and the base. Make sure that the lap belt section of the seat belt is threaded between the red hooks and the belt tensioner. After installation, push the Maxi-Cosi Priori XP firmly into the car seat whilst at the same time pulling the shoulder belt tight, so that the Maxi-Cosi Priori XP is securely in place. For complete instructions, please see the PDF manual on this product page.
