Maxi-Cosi Fero--Be the first to arrive
The Maxi-Cosi Fero is designed to help your child climb quickly into the car seat, get buckled up and ready to hit the road. The Fero is a forward-facing Group 2/3 car seat appropriate for children weighing from 15 kg to 36 kg, or 3.5 years to around 12 years.

Maxi-Cosi Fero (Total Black)
As of September 2006, the use of safety belts in cars and approved child safety devices is mandatory for all children under 12 years old or less than 1.35 metres/4'5" in height for transport by car in the front and back seat. Every Maxi-Cosi car seat model--defined in the latest UN safety standard ECE R44.04--is specially designed for each age, as your child grows from birth to the age of 12.
- It is always the weight not the age of a child that dictates the choice of car seat.
- Do not buy or accept a second-hand car seat--you can never be certain of its full history and it may not provide adequate protection in an accident.

Why Choose the Maxi-Cosi Fero?
Installation : The Maxi-Cosi Fero is installed using the car's standard 3-point seat belt.
Convenient Design : The innovative seat design of the Fero, with easy to access buckle and user-friendly belt hooks, make it simpler and quicker for the child to be buckled up in the car.
Buckling Up : The child is secured in the seat with the car's 3-point seat belt. Buckling your child in the Fero is made simpler due to the seat belt guides; the buckle is visible and easily accessible so that the child can fasten their own seat belt.
Lightweight and Compact : The Maxi-Cosi Fero is compact and light making it hassle-free to switch from one car to another.
Right Protection: The Maxi-Cosi Fero features AirProtect technology for extra head protection. It also has a stability anchor located at the back of the headrest.
Headrest : This Group 2/3 car seat has an easy-to-adjust headrest. With this fully adjustable head and shoulder support, the seat grows with your child. The button on the top of the headrest allows you to adjust the length as desired.
Recline Positions : The Maxi-Cosi Fero offers user-friendly recline--1 sitting and 1 relaxing position--with easy access at the front. Never adjust the recline positions of the Maxi-Cosi Fero whilst your child is in it.
Adjustable Seat : The Fero can also be adjusted both height and width-wise to grow with your child.
IsoFix Version : The Maxi-Cosi FeroFix is the alternate version of this car seat. The FeroFix (available separately) requires IsoFix and belt installation.
Installing the Maxi-Cosi Fero
Only use the Maxi-Cosi Fero on a front-facing seat that has been provided with an automatic 3-point belt provided it has been approved according to the ECE R16 standard or similar. Do not use a 2-point belt. Correct fitting of the car seat belt is essential for the safety of your child. The car seat must be attached in the correct sequence along the red marks on the Maxi-Cosi Fero.
Remove the car seat headrest if it stops you from adjusting the headrest of the Maxi-Cosi Fero to the desired height. Make sure to replace the headrest of the back seat of your vehicle when you remove the car seat.
