Product Description

Max Factor’s Miracle Touch Liquid Illusion foundation will revolutionise the way you apply your base. With a unique lightweight solid to liquid formula it removes the need for the traditional concealer, foundation and powder combination and instead creates the perfect base in just one easy application. The result is a flawless, fresh and incredibly smooth complexion that glows with radiance.

EXPERT TIP: For the most professional results smooth Miracle Touch Liquid Illusion foundation over the contours of your face with the specially designed sponge. Try using the edge of the sponge to conceal dark circles and blemishes. For a pared down and perfectly finished look, add two coats of mascara to define and accentuate your lashes. Max Factor make-up artist Pat McGrath says: “The traditional way of applying foundation involves a lot of layering--foundation is applied first with concealer used sparingly on the areas that need it. Then, a light veil of loose powder sets the skin. As you can imagine, it takes time to layer foundation, concealer, and powder to create a perfectly even look. What’s needed is a product that creates flawless skin with speed and simplicity. Miracle Touch is that product; an innovative lightweight foundation that’s easy to apply yet delivers full coverage, eliminating all the complex layering. Miracle Touch also performs as a concealer when it’s applied to dark circles and imperfections--in the areas that need it--with the edge of the sponge."

I have fairly dry skin and the main problem I have with most foundations, is that the make-up tends to cling to the dry bits which looks unsightly. Having been pleased with other products in the Max Factor range I decided to try this. I am pale skinned so chose creamy ivory, which turned out to be a perfect match with my skin and didn't look orangey, nor did it make me look ghostly as some foundations for pale skin can.

This is a creamy foundation which comes in a pot with a sponge that can be stored away in the base of the compact. At first I thought the foundation seemed really thick and I worried that I was going to end up looking caked in make up. In fact, I found that the sponge made the foundation easy to apply and blend and I was left with a natural finish which both looked and felt light on the skin. The foundation gives a good level of coverage and hides my dark circles and any spots or blemishes well. The best thing about it, is that the creamy formula is brilliantly suited to my dry skin and it doesn't cling to dry skin. I would highly recommend this....another winner from Max Factor!

This is definitely the best make up I've tried till now. Since I don't like to cover my whole face with an inch of make up, making me unrecognizable when I take it off, this is perfect! It hides all redness, spots and lines beneath a thin layer, which also makes the skin smooth. Really recommend this :)

I have a very sensitive dry skin which doesnt accept foundation very well. However, this product is excellent and can be applied either sparingly or more thickly where required. Being water based it is economical, and doesnt dry the skin.
It offers excellent cover for blemishes without leaving a tell tale line where applied.

i gave up looking for a good foundation about 1 year ago. then this summer, my friend had this foundation and so i tried it on my face because i couldn't find my own foundation. wow. i couldn't believe how amazing it made my skin look. i was literally amazed. i bought my own straight away and have been using it since august and i love it. i get really bad breakouts of spots, huge, deep red acne. this foundation almost completely covers them up, without making my skin look cakey. best foundation i've ever found.

Awesome. The best foundation I have ever tried. Usually liquid foundation dries my skin and I am not a very young chick so it is paramount that it covers blemishes and wrinkles as naturally as possible. Thumbs up!

Colour Name: 40 Creamy Ivory
I bought this foundation in creamy ivory as it seemed to be the lightest shade they make. It's not a bad match for my pale winter skin as long as I don't put Max Factor Facefinity Foundation Compact - 1 Porcelain on the top as it gives it an orange tone. The product is easy to apply with the sponge provided and blends in easily, I find it much easier and less messy to apply than normal liquid foundation. The end result can look a bit matt and flat if you apply too much, but if you are sparing in places where you don't need much coverage you can achieve a fairly natural looking result. If you want a dewy finish, this product is not for you - the texture looks much drier on the skin than a regular liquid foundation, more like you have put powder over the top of your foundation. It doesn't leave the skin feeling greasy though.

The worst thing about this product is the packaging, and not just that it looks a bit cheap. The sponge is kept separate from the foundation in a flip down section at the bottom, whilst the foundation is in a screw off section at the top. So you need to remove the sponge first, then twist off the section containing the makeup, so now you have three things in your hands and no mirror. If you are doing your makeup sitting down at a dressing table complete with mirror it's not an issue, but I end with the foundation holding bit in my left hand along with another compact which actually has a mirror so I can see what I'm doing, the sponge in my right hand, applying the product and the rest of the packaging dumped on my lap.

I like this foundation. It has a little sponge and glides on your skin but becomes more solid after application. It is a light coverage but it is easy to apply multiple layers. It makes my skin very soft and it feels as though it is nutritious for the skin. I really like this but, personally, I prefer a bit more coverage.
