My eyelashes are very long which is great, however they really lack volume, so I always stick to volume mascaras. This mascara is one of the best volume mascara's I have tried (and I have tried many!). With many volume mascaras I end up getting big clumps as my lashes are long, but this is not the case with masterpiece max. The brush is brilliant and really separates each lash out without clumping together, but at the same time making them look thicker, bolder and sleek. I love the overall finish this gives. I would say it's worth paying a little more than the likes of Maybelline as you do get much better results from Max Factor.
The packaging also says suitable for contact lens wearers. I am a contact lens wearer and this mascara has been great on my eyes and not caused any problems.

I had been searching for so long to find a good mascara at a reasonable price (Lancome Hypnose was becoming slightly uneconomical at £20 a go!) and Masterpiece Max literally fits the bill. I was sceptical about using a brush with artifical plastic bristles, but I have been silenced and convinced otherwise. It really does give great volume and separates lashes superbly to leave no clumps. Also very dark black colour. I was pleased too, that it is not a hassle to take off with remover. Four stars not five though, because after a long day of wear, it does start to smudge slightly under the eyes.

I've always loved Max Factor mascaras, but it's the first time I tried this one. It amazing. Puts volume in the lashes without making them clumpy, the brush is great, it stays on all day/night, without flaking, yet comes off easily with eye make up remover. And for the price and service from Amazon - unbeatable.

Creates clumps, dries out quickly
Disappointed with the mascara, the content started to dry out and create clumps after just a week from opening. It definitely does not make lashes 400% bigger, as advertised. Read more

sexy lashes!
The applicator isn't a brush but a '3d' comb with little spikes all the way around. Towards the tip, it gets narrower and the spikes get smaller which is really useful for coating... Read more
