If you want a wooden spoon - Broons memorabilia - this is for you. I bought it for my wife but decided to keep it as a bit of Broons collectable. You never know, in 40 years someone might pay a fiver for it? Or, use if for porridge. Without sugar. Half a cup of porridge oats, semi skimmed or water or half and half at 2.5 the amount of porridge. Mix well with your wooden spoon, simmer until oats cooked, add a touch of salt. Pour into bowl, add milk to cool. add more salt to taste.
My mum used to cook our porridge with water and salt. now salt is not that good for you it seems but sugar in porridge is horrible in my view. Anyway, always use a wooden spoon when cooking porridge but this spoon has a print on it so I don't think it would be suitable - decorative only in my view but its up to you really.
