A promising start to a new series :D
Had my doubts when first seeing this title, especially knowing it was novella rather than a novel, but I was pleasantly surprised. Although relatively short the story is written in a such a way that a lot happens in those pages. The writing style is straight forward and at times very playful making is highly enjoyable to read and rarely dull.

Although not an original theme or genre the way its written as well as setting and surrounding mythos is original enough to keep it fresh. We also get introduced to a wide range of characters without being distracted from those central to the story.

Top marks for entertainment, pretty well written and reasonably creative. Don't feel comfortable giving it 5 stars but would give it 4.5 if possible ^^ I'll be following the series.

I have downloaded a good few of this series, up to about number fifteen I believe, and although it started off reasonably okay I would strongly recommend to anyone thinking of starting them to look elsewhere to spend their money. The editing is very poor for the most part (character names mixed up, places, plot holes a mile wide and twice again deep) and anyone halfway competent should have caught them on the first read through as the plots are not exactly what you'd call challenging. The author has unmistakeable imagination and talent there's no doubt there, but she's not giving herself a chance to explore situations and characters to even half their possibilities and everything about her creations are suffering as a result. Undoubtably prolific she leaves you feeling that she's now lost sight of why she started writing in the first place and is now just churning out these sub-standard stories with an eye to the next buck to hit her bank account. I kept with the series as long as I could because there is such potential in her writing but ultimately lost faith and interest, as I felt the author did, as the stories progressed. There are cheaper, better options available to you if you like this genre and I would recommend that you spend the time to have a look through the Kindle store and find them. I've read far, far better fan fictions and original works through many fan run and free access sites and am really disappointed that such a promising idea has been so soundly ruined by it's creator.

I didn't think this was going to be brilliant literature, but I really didn't think it would be this bad! The first time the big bad wolf met his 'mate' he breaks into the kid's apartment and rapes him. And it goes downhill even more from there. it's full of cliches, the huge wolf guy, the skinny kid, the jealous other guy etc. If you want some decent gay werewolf fiction avoid this and try Kim Dare, so much better.
