Mauviel Copper Roaster

This marvelous roaster is from the Mauviel Cuprinox Pour La Table Range.

Unlike the majority of Cuprinox cookware which has functional single piece cast iron handles, the Pour La Table items use a very elegant cast bronze handle as we have here. Both handle types allow you to use the cookware on a hob and transfer it straight into an oven - a superb flexibilty for keen chefs that is impossible with a wooden or plastic handled item.

The Pour La Table pieces go one step further and as the name suggests are designed to remove the need for seperate serving dishes - the roaster can be removed from the oven and placed straight on the table. A normal roasting dish would just look ugly - this one is genuinely elegant and of supremely high quality, and would certainly elicit admiring comments from dinner party guests. This medium sized roaster would be a good starting point for a family of four and I recommend the large for a Turkey. Two or more of matching size would be ideal for the regular host or large family.

Overall a truly wonderful piece of cookware that will give genuine pleasure to those using it and undoubtedly outlast its lucky owner. A professional chef once advised me to buy the very best quality cookware I could afford and keep it for life - you simply cannot obtain better quality than this. Anywhere.
