This is more like the sort of small pamphlet which you may pick up for free in a tourist information office than a book. It is poorly arranged, jumping from describing one side of the island to somewhere on the other side. It is also hard to see why several pages are devoted to Rodrigues Island, which is 560km east of Mauritius. Actually, there aren't many tourist attractions in Mauritius, but the island does have many pretty places. We enjoyed visiting Ile aux Cerfs and the Chinatown and market in Port Louis.
This was a great little book which came in handy for a recent holiday to Mauritius. It had lots of helpful hints and tips, and was a perfect size to fit into a small handbag. Excellent value for money, and much used.
