The Barbie iDesign Ultimate Stylist Set can make you the ultimate fashion designer. Layer the innovative fashion cards to create lots of great looks on Barbie and her friends, then pop in the CD-ROM to continue the fashion designing fun on your computer. It's fashion play in a brand new way! Barbie iDesign delivers next generation fashion fun through a CD-ROM computer game, USB-connected scanner and trading-card sized, fashion cards. There are 60 different collectible fashion cards, consisting of various hairstyles, tops, bottoms, dresses, shoes, accessories and fashion models. Each has a unique barcode that when "swiped" through the USB-connected scanner, is uploaded to the Design Studio closet within the PC software. Once fashions are scanned and loaded on the computer, kids can play fashion stylist and create more than 21,000,000 fashionable ensembles in the game's Design Studio. When the fashions are runway ready, kids are able to customize their fashion show in the game's Fashion Runway mode of play, which it's possible to customise the music, lighting and theme of their runway show.
Additionally, there are many fun, fashion-themed activities kids can play in the "Designer's Club", where models, fashion editors and tired designers can relax.
In the "Designer's Club" kids can:
- Watch the tape of their Runway Show on the big screen
- Design a magazine cover using images from their "Runway Show" or the "Design Studio", adding text and decorations
- Use the fashion cards (available separately) and scanner to play four different fashion card games including Style Challenge, Fashion Match, Closet Cleanout and Fashion Finder. Fashion Cards (available separately) also have additional fun once they have been scanned. These innovative mix-and-match fashion cards are also transparent, allowing kids to create unique looks in real life as well. Each fashion pack includes nine scannable fashion cards (dresses, tops, accessories, and so on), three background cards featuring various locations such as the beach or the mall, three model cards, including Barbie and her friends, plus a fashionable frame to display their signature looks. The fashion packs are available in different themes: Rocker, School, Casual, Party, Princess, Bling, Beach and Sporty. Girls can collect them all to continue to create fresh new fashions.
The Barbie iDesign Ultimate Stylist Set includes a sleek vinyl case that holds up to 60 collectible fashion cards as well as the iDesign CD-ROM and scanner. The Barbie iDesign Fashion Cards are available separately.
