This has got to be the cheapest looking,nastiest toy anyone has bought as a present.This toy falls apart most of the time my child plays with it.I honestly don't think the people that made this had kids in mind,because you have to be very gentle when playing with it,it really takes the fun out of it if you can't be reasonably hashy when playing.If it was more durable this possibly might make a decent toy,but until then DON"T buy it.

The thing is a mess, poor workmanship quality and design! mattel needs to apologise for this pathetic piece of junk, it falls appart. The missile weapon jammed on the second shot and works no more, the elevator door for some reason decided after one go to work the otherway around but this is useless as you want to be able to push the screen and the elevator door to open, the rappelling thing detaches from the whole right hand side as soon as you touch it. The cardboard background falls apart.

Great toy if you want to superglue it all up, Ducti tape the whole lot nail it to the wall tell your kid that's the way it works, share in his frustration, or him in yours and after a few days when he has lost interest sit together outside and have loads of fun setting it ablaze with a canister of petrol because the joker blasted it away and move on to another superhero who has companies making quality toys for them. Bad rep for batman license owners thanks to matel.

My son received this as a Christmas gift, I have just checked other amazon reviews to see if anyone else has had similar problems and it appears they have. I can't believe that MATTEL are still selling this heap of junk after the first review in 2006 .
As soon as I had built this up I thought how will this thing stand up it is not stable at all, it does have a clamp but what can you clamp it to. Nothing seems to work very well and I would advise anyone that this is a very poor design and a total waste of money.
DON"T BUY THIS ITEM
