As a scrabble fanatic I thought this would be an insult to the game, but having played it this weekend I have to say it was brilliant. The trickster element certainly adds not detracts from what is one of "the" classic board games. You play it as you would regular scrabble with the familiar board layout and rules, but some of the blank squares are marked "trickster" On covering these squares you then pick up a trickster card. These cards which give an instruction can then be played or held till best used to your advantage. My only gripe is the boards colours are a little gaudy and certainly hard on the eyes after a while, but that could just be my eye sight :)
