Remove her full skirt and the result is a short, sassy, shift dress in pink lurex that befits any modern girl about town. But a modern girl needs a modern hairstyle, and that's where the real beauty and fun of Rose Princess Barbie is revealed. For beneath her frock are some strings which, when pulled gently, will pull each ponytail up onto her head. Pull right up for the full "bee-hive" effect or go for a softer approach and leave strands dangling for an evening look. Mix and match is certainly the name of the game, and little girls will have lots of fun experimenting with different looks for day and night.
Young testers certainly found the hair feature the most interesting, and the younger end of the 3+ recommended age range may need their enthusiasm tempering if she is to last a long time. Tempt them with the purple flower hair grips included just for them, should the situation reach crisis point!
