This toy is an extremely durable toy - very little chance of breaking - you might lose the shoes, but they are not necessary! It is enjoyed by both my 18month old anf 5 year old. Played with inside the bath and out. The 'boots' toy has a novelty factor for the bath, squirting water - I'm am not sure how long we will keep this, as these kind of toys generally need to be binned for hygenie reasons (stale water stuck inside). The Dora doll will be around for years to come. We have this toy almost 2 years so far and is like new.
