I liked reading this. It was an interlude where I could indulge myself with an entertaining, quick, and hot love story. It has a yummy laconic alpha male, a strong woman in need of saving, and love scenes which are hot. Despite the fact they both do not talk much, their interactions are intense and meaningful. I was not suffocated with details about the author's new world; I was given enough to be "in the know" and was able to enjoy the story.

Wonderful wonderful read. I can't say how much I enjoyed this futuristic themed erotica story that takes place on a primitive tundra type planet. It has an emotional story line, hot erotica kinky scenes, a loyal but cute pet, and a side kick friend that is strong in stature but small in size to create a story that is different from the majority of books with a similar theme out there.
I have looked for books with a strong independent female central character and found most lacking in some way. Well this book is the closest I've ever found where the central female is equal to the male and doesn't give up control just because. He has to earn the right to be with her and she doesn't make it easy on him unless she wants to. Shila's character has some issues for me but she is a kick ass animal in and out of the bedroom. And Koll is man enough to take her on. Wowzer people! These two heat up the pages and then some.

This was a new to me author who I am now looking to buy any and all of her books if her writing style is anything to go by in this one. Terrific!

You know when you see so/so reviews and think - perhaps I shouldnt buy this one? and then you go ahead and buy it anyway - well this is such an instance. I determindly trudged through this book to the end (as I did pay for it...) but it turned out to be a complete waste of time (money and space on my kindle) despite hopefully sticking with it. Boring - shallow - one dimensional characters - situations etc. Do yourself a favour & believe the reviews.
