This track has already made a great impression, as it breezes into thecharts at number 8 this week. I have absolute no doubts Franz Ferdinandwill make it big with this single and the follow ups that are sure tocome. Their music has a funky back beat and follows through with a tuneyou can dance too. As with all great singles theirs nothing better thanblasting this one from your car stereo and singing along. It'll take awhile to learn the trace of the words, but once you do it's amazing howsatisfying this is. Matinee, is a great single and well worth placing atthe top of any collection, as i think it crosses a lot of tastes.

Franz Ferdinand are simply the best new band around. there gift is reallyto re-work the guitar band in a new format. Simply a cracking single and abright new star has been born !

Franz Ferdinand are back with their 2nd Single off their self named album.I didnt really rate them until i heard this song as i found take me outquite tedious.
Lyrics like "SO FIND ME AND FOLLOW ME, THROUGHCORRIDORS, REFECTORIES AND FILES" from a band deserve to stay in theindustry.
