 One is a Snail, Ten is a Crab "One is a Snail, Ten is a Crab. Great book to get children thinking Mathematically - introduces the idea of numberbonds and counting in 10s."
 The Great Pet Sale "The Great Pet Sale - read this book and then adapt the idea. We made 'The great Deep Sale' after we had been to The Deep in Hull."
 2 X 2 = Boo!: A Set of Spooky Multiplication Stories "2x2=Boo. A great way to get children into Multiplication - especially if you can time it for around Halloween!"
 A Remainder of One "A Remainder of One - we acted it out and marched to the 'Ants go Marching' song - really helped children to understand the relationship between Multiplication and divison and the notion of remainders."
 One Hundred Hungry Ants "By the same author as the book above - and seemed a same not to do both books! Good for bonds to 100 and understanding place value."
 365 Penguins: 1 "365 Penguins - simply brilliant - I know schools where this book has been the focus of Maths for the whole school - not much you can't explore through this book!"
 10 Little Penguins Pop-up "10 Little Penguins - Having got into the book above - we just had to have this too! Although the maths is more for children learning about numbers up to 10, we still enjoyed it!"
 10 Little Penguins Stuck on the Fridge "10 Little Penguins stuck on the fridge - essentially this is really just a set of fridge magnets which go with the theme of the 365 penguins book - but we did enjoy using them along with the book."
 How Big is a Million? (Usborne Picture Storybooks) (Picture Books) "How big is a Million? While still on with the Penguin theme - this was another great book we used to develop a concept of number."
 How Many Jelly Beans? "How many Jelly Beans? Just a fantastic book - we built a role play area of a Jelly Bean shop, used the illustations to make number cards and number lines and just thoroughly engaged in Maths through the book for several weeks."
 100 Things "100 Things - fantastic illustrations -keeping children completely engaged in counting, sorting, place value and number concepts up to 100."
 Just a Second "Just a second - beautifully illustrated and wonderful way to explore the concept of time."
 Dinosaurs Galore "Dinosaurs Galore - same illustrator as 100 things - great for observational skills, pattern recognition, symmetry"
 The Murderous Maths of Everything "Murderous Maths of Everything - all the Murderous Maths books are great - but this is like the bumper book!"
 You Can Count on Monsters: The First 100 Numbers and Their Characters "You can count monsters - great book for a fun way to think about factors."
 The Real Princess: A Mathemagical Tale "The Real Princess - Maths more for KS2 - so not done with my class, but would love to use it!"
 The Rabbit Problem "The Rabbit Problem - Fibonacci in a fun and creative way."
 Rush Hour Puzzle Game "Rush Hour Traffic Jam Puzzle - a game to hit children (&adults) thinking logically - also resources to support class use on line."
 Chocolate Fix Game "A logic problem for children (and adults) also available as an ipad app."
 Rush Hour Junior Puzzle Game "Rush Hour Junior - enjoyed Rush hour so much - I had to get this version too! and also the Ipad app!"
 One Grain of Rice "One Grain of Rice - a great book to look at doubling with."
 Tyrannosaurus Math "Dinosaur Math - covers a wide range of Maths and great for dinosaur fans"
 How High Can a Dinosaur Count?: ...and Other Math Mysteries "How High Can a Dinosaur Count?: ...and Other Math Mysteries - another American book, but the pictures are good and the problems can be tweaked for UK - dimes to pence etc."
 At the Same Moment, Around the World "At the Same Moment, Around the World - Good for time zones."
 One Day "One Day. Around the world in 24 hours - again great for time and time zones. Cross curricular Geography and Maths"
