GCSE Maths
The GCSE Maths package is divided into two sections entitled Shape, Space & Number and Algebra & the Handling of Data. To help students absorb the material covered in each section and to maintain in the program, a range of questions is put forth in various manners. ‘Drag and Drop’ exercises, numerical calculations and multiple-choice questions are a few examples of the activities that students will encounter when using this CD. Mock exams allow students to test themselves and concentrate on those sections they need more practice in. Immediate feedback and worked solutions are provided. The material on the CD incredibly comprehensive.

GCSE IT
The GCSE IT CD is an ideal tool to help deliver information about this subject. The CD gives a good picture of the extent to which we use IT in our lives. Whilst other GCSE CD-ROMS I have come across are set up more as revision tools, this one focusses more on learning, and is therefore of use throughout the GCSE course. Although there are short tests on each topic, its strength is in its comprehensive coverage of each topic in the 'Classroom' section; it has filled in gaps in my son's knowledge and he is no longer worried about his grasp of the subject.

If you are looking to learn and develop your German, then this is a fantastic learning aid! From spelling; to punctuation; to pronounciation; to identification... this program covers it all.

I can highly recommend it.

You are compelled to do some serious thinking which facilitates your learning curve, but the content is presented in such a way that what should be hard work, becomes enjoyable and fun!

'The Times' have definitely come up with a gem of a package here. I would tell anyone who has started to learn German, and now needs a kick-start to carry on, that this bit of software is what they need.

I would love to see more language learning programs of this nature. A couple more GCSE German CD's with different themes would also be brilliant, and one or two for A-level's German would be the cherry on the top! Bring on some more!!!

In a Physics lesson I found the most interesting thing about it was my teachers socks. If you are having a simular problem or want to get good results then look no further. The program includes interactive experiments and exercises, video clips, a section that teaches you all you need to know and then tests for each topic. The graphics and animations are great and its actually quite fun! I feel I am learning far more this way and enjoying it at the same time. From Biotechnology to Titrations everything that you will need to learn for GCSE is there in an easy way to learn and revise. It beats my teachers socks anyday!
