5.0 out of 5 stars super! 11 Sep 2009
Format:Paperback
This book was a breath of fresh air! inspiring colour, inspiring quilts!Within a week of receiving the book i had put some of my stash to work and made one of the quilts from this book.My only dilema was which one to pick! After that it was plain sailing as the instructions actually are good to follow and tips on which fabric to cut first actually would have saved me fabric (if i had followed them!).I am allready planning my next project from the book and i am eyeing fabric in a new light!

5.0 out of 5 stars The best quilt book in my collection 2 Feb 2010
Format:Paperback
I own a few lovely quilting books, but this is by far my favourite (although I haven't bought their second book yet!)and I am currently carrying it around the house with me to read whilst cooking the childrens dinner etc! I am fairly new to quilting, but the mouth-watering colours and modern designs in this book have really inspired me to move away from the more 'traditional' quilting projects. Its written clearly and instructions are easy to follow with lots of diagrams and colour photos for each stage of each quilt. I am making the 'house & people' quilt at the moment and this book has given me the courage to really go for more random shapes. I look forward to making many of the others too, and now have added the second book to my wish-list (my birthday is soon!). I only wish I could visit their shop...Australia is such a long way away!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Delicious 1 April 2009
Format:Paperback
I love this book! The cover photography reflects the contents very well with a lovely selection of bright and breezy quilts. Each quilt comes with a little 'Story' narative, which makes this a nice 'read' as well as a good project book. My only negative comment is that I don't like the hand sketched diagrams and templates, but that's a personal thing, don't let it put you off. All in all a lovely publication.
