This is the most succinct book I have ever read that demystifies the complex aspect of relationships of all kinds - with your family, friends, colleagues, lover, and possibly more importantly with yourself. It is such an easy read with clear understandable examples that I actually didn't fully absorb what it was saying first time but subsequently have re-read and re-read the book many times. Each time it helps to bring clarity again. This is a absolutely must have book on the road of spirituality.

Once again, Miguel Ruiz works his beautiful magic in <The Mastery of Love>. In this book, he expands on the wisdom of <The Four Agreements> by applying the Toltec Wisdom to human relationships. Miguel explores the pitfalls of our assumptions and beliefs about love and the way in which they limit our ability to enjoy relationship. He also suggests tools and prayers so that we can move out of fear and into a more loving relationship--with ourselves first and then with others.

Ever the story-teller, Ruiz also shares several stories and myths which express his teaching as much through the tone of his words as through the content. The heart-felt way in which he imparts his simple wisdom makes this book a joy to read and easy to absorb. Do you want more fulfilling relationships with others--romantic and otherwise? Do you find it difficult to relate to potential friends and lovers without a cynical mindset? If so, I definitely recommend this book.

Dear Fellow Readers,

This title is the first self-help book I've come across in a long time which not only provided amazing clarity regarding the mind's programming, but also gave me a concrete tool with which I honestly feel I can now un-do the negative programming I have that has plagued me for years. Naturally, a tool cannot do the work for me; it is up to the individual to apply the tool consistently. Nevertheless, the book gave me a clear understanding of the nature of our programming, what exactly one is up against and how to fight it. I feel as if I finally received the magic key I was hunting for or the missing piece of the puzzle. And you can imagine how good that feels! I was so impressed by this book that I bought The Four Agreements, which is the previous book by the same author, and I find that this too provides graspable, concrete tools that, if applied, would eliminate vast amounts of unnecessary suffering for ourselves as well as for those around us. What is also impressive is that both books convey such profound wisdom with asounding simplicity and clarity. Just like when the light bulb goes on for us and, in retrospect, a concept we once struggled with seems so simple, these books cut through the fog with laser precision. I heartily recommend them both, especially to those searching in earnest.
