The reel was bought to reach a variety of sites distant from a power socket and the 50m available is already proving very useful.
The reel has the added safety feature of a thermal cut out which gives extra confidence when in use. When it was first unpacked the reel was a little tangled and this got worse in running it out the first time but it is easy to rewind and prevent tangling. Very good for distant jobs but time consuming for close work as the whole reel should be unwound to avoid over heating. Handy to have 4 sockets to plug in different pieces of equipment at the working end.

Well built. Note that it can only handle 13 amps when completely unwound (this is the same for all cable reels like this)

Great looking, high quality and well priced.
This is a great quality item - very thick heavy duty wire, strong frame, thick/strong plastic - an excellent product and double the weight of similar cheaper ones.
It was actually too heavy for my personal intended use (age/weight related), but for any serious professional needs I am sure this is worth paying a little more for.
I was most sorry to have to send it back as I love good quality usually and would recommend it highly for most younger people who can carry/roll it's extra weight.
